Logitech Understands "The New Office" In Savvy New CampaignNovember 4, 2011 San Francisco, November 4, 2011: "The New Office" is here to stay. In a new campaign that highlights the reality of what constitutes the new office, Logitech, a world leader in products that connect people to digital experiences, introduces tools that are specifically designed for the anywhere workplace. Logitech created the campaign for "The New Office" with creative support from Doremus San Francisco. The tagline reads: "Welcome to The New Office. Tools designed for the Anywhere Workplace." "The idea of The New Office," said Chad Thompson, Worldwide B2B Marketing Director, Logitech, "speaks to most companies and their workforces. It perfectly reflects the evolving nature of how we work today, and reminds businesses why Logitech is more relevant today to their business than ever before." Garrett Lawrence, Managing Director of Doremus San Francisco, added: "The products that appeal to us as consumers also appeal to us at work. Now that work extends outside the office into many facets of our lives, Logitech bridges that gap, creating a better computing experience through enhanced touch, sight and sound." The campaign includes four videos that humorously portray four different New Office situations. Dinner Meeting shows a young executive as he prepares dinner at home, then with help from his young children, quickly clears the table and removes family photos from the wall so the dining room resembles an office. Now he's ready to hook up his webcam and participate in that dinnertime conference with Hong Kong. The Hong Kong staff, gathered in a meeting room, is visibly impressed that the young man is still "at the office" at this very late (for him) hour. (Home Office) In Diva, a female executive, frustrated with her office technology, begins to have a fit…until she is assuaged by the savvy office IT guy who comes to the rescue with Logitech equipment that she gladly accepts. Mission accomplished. The becalmed Diva is back at work. (Office Pack) Airport shows a polished businesswoman as she nonchalantly sets up her "office" in the airport as she waits for her plane. As she conducts a video conference with her home office, a heavy metal rock band chooses to vociferously break up around her. With rockers at each other's throats, the woman remains blissfully calm while she works, keeping her composure and even taking a moment to offer the jilted band member a tissue to blot his tears. (Go Pack) And finally, in Open Space, a young man meets virtually with a client. As they communicate, his office pod-mates in the background run amok. When we see his female client on screen, displaying a chart, we notice that her office is just as unruly, its workers just as out of control. But thanks to Logitech, business goes on and the background noise is hardly noticed.
